Good morning and happy Sunday!!!!  Rain at last!!!

We so hope you got rain also and your tanks are full and your gardens are happy.  We pray that the rains found many fires and put this nightmare season to an end.

This morning I awoke to the loudest chorus of laughter from kookaburras that I've heard in such a long time.  It was as though they were singing in joy at the relief of rain and what it will mean for the wildlife both flora and fauna.  So, I thought it befitting to tell you about something very Australian this morning.

Last year we were fortunate enough to have two Australiana themed collections release before Christmas and your response was overwhelming.

It seems the Australian distributors are starting to listen and Kaisercraft have now made another range, Native Breeze,  available which should arrive late this week.  If you had to wait for our second, third, fourth or fifth reorder last year, you can avoid that by pre-ordering what you want and we will call you as soon as it arrives.  Email us with your order or call the store on 3851 2200 (Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 4pm).

Here are all the images - the collection includes:

* a 12x12" collection pack (there are generally 3 papers from the entire collection that are not included in this so if you want them all, you will need to order these 3 separately - just tell the staff and they will know which 3 and add them on for you)

* 9 individual double sided 12x12" papers

* sticker book

* clear stamps

* 6.5x6.5" paper pad

* collectables, and

* wood flourishes.

If you love our card kits, you'll be excited to know that Deb and Sue have created a 15 card kit for you and it should be ready for collection after 28th January.  Pre-orders can be taken now.
The kit is only $35.00 and includes cards, envelopes, papers, collectables, ribbons, die cuts and everything you'll need to complete the cards.
 Images will be emailed to you when you purchase the kit.

We will have pics of the card kit this week for you.

Did you know that we will be opening on the first Sunday
of each month and hosting a free crop on these days also?

No there's no excuse for not getting things done and catching up on all your crafting projects.

Exciting new scrapbooking classes at A Place to Create have been planned for 2020 and we’d love to share all the details with you.

Our talented teacher, Melissa Struhs, will be hosting an information session this Saturday 11th January to help you better understand the opportunities for 2020.  Mel has a unique style which incorporates techniques and tips while presenting multiple photos on a layout.  Whether you want to catch up on or complete your albums, Dreamscapes offers you an opportunity to use items from your collection whilst getting professional help to co-ordinate them with

Our first information session will be held between 10am – 12noon and will answer all your questions on Dreamscapes – if you can’t make it for the whole time, feel free to pop in when you can.

After this session, Mel will discuss her Limited Edition kit class and also her new Subscribe to Grand Ideas club where you can subscribe to fantastic ideas and kits each month.

We are sure you will find something that suits your needs and budget.

Please let us know if you are planning to come and haven’t done so already or pop in on the day if you find yourself free.

Hope to see you there.

Celebr8 have become a household name in the scrapbooking world here in Australia
and they take the time to visit us each year which not a lot of suppliers do so we like to show them some love and their products sure do deserve it.

Here's the latest range "Take Note".

It's a fabulously versatile line that you will be able to use for a vast array of occasions.

As always, there are some fabulous matt boards and one stencil released with the range which you can buy individually.

The Bulk Pack includes everything available in the collection so if you're likely to have FOMO, this is the pack you will want.  If you see a sample on their facebook page, you will be able to replicate it with the bulk pack and still have loads left over for more creations.

Their acetates and embellishments are now only available in the bulk pack so you can't get these individually any more. :(

 The Paper Pack is a great way to grab all the papers and then you can use up some bits from your own "stash" to embellish.  The pack also gives you some inspiration sketches which is always a bonus.

We have confirmed with Celebr8 and this pack is not being used in any of their classes at A Place to Create so don't worry about doubling're just going to have to buy this one so you don't miss out.

Have a fabulous day!

We are open for 2020

Today is the first day of 2020 for A Place to Create under the new management of Karenina.

Here’s a little introduction to Karenina and how she has ended up here.

My husband Trevor and I arrived in Australia 12 years ago for family reasons. In the past 12 years we have been so lucky to experience living the dream ( with a few curve balls thrown in !)
We have grabbed every opportunity that has come our way and when I decided that at 60 I needed that change, another opportunity arose......and today the 2nd January 2020 I embark on a new adventure. I believe giving it ‘ a fair go’  and being passionate means I will do what it takes to make the business a success. I have stepped into Gayles  shoes and will ensure that A Place to Create remains that wonderful environment where everyone can be surrounded by creativity, colour and fun.
I look forward to meeting you all and having an amazing future together.

Happy Creating
