CLASS DESCRIPTIONS AND DETAILS:

Cards with Deb & Sue

These relaxed and fun classes explore an array of fantastic card folds and techniques in a supportive environment.  Enjoy laughs and chats as you make new friends, fun cards and learn lot of tricks along the way.

Bring your basic tool kit – trimmer, adhesives and basic tools.  Cutting mats are provided.

Beginners may try their first class without a tool kit as Deb and Sue will share items while you gather your supplies for ongoing classes.

Cost $15.00 ~ includes class kit     Bookings essential

HOW TO ~ Tips and tricks

These $10 sessions are designed to help you better understand your tools and equipment so you can get the most out of them.  Techniques will change each week with new topics to explore. 

 Scrap & Chat

Bring a friend or make new ones as you work on your chosen projects with the luxury of having a shop at your fingertips as you create.  These sessions are free – simply bring your tools and projects along.  Scrap and Chat sessions are a great opportunity to complete kits bought in store as you can work alongside the sample projects. Free but bookings essential.

 Crop

Escape the real world and join other crafters for up to 10 hours of creative play time - grown up style. Bring your tools and projects and ignore all the chores of home as you enjoy adult conversation and friendship. Nibbles, dinner and dessert is provided.

You can come and go as you need to if you are indispensable. 

 Colouring Flowers

You’ve seen all the samples Tina makes and how amazingly her flowers match her projects and now you can find out how to do it yourself.  Either bring a bag full of flowers from home and simply add a few on the day if needed or buy what you need as you go.  You will also learn about the mixed media materials needed to create her gorgeous finishes. Class fee will cover tuition and mixed media items required.  All flowers and embellishments are at an additional cost.

 Clustering Flowers

In these classes, Tina will show you how to take your flowers and make them work with your project.  Bring your project or simply a bunch of flowers from your craft stash and play with Tina as you create a beautiful cluster.  Class fee will cover tuition however any additional items needed will need to be paid for.

Cards with Sharon

If you can’t get in for classes during the week, Sharon will be sharing a range of techniques and new product with you throughout  these new Thursday evening classes.   Bring your basic kit including adhesives, trimmer, edge distressing tool and a good sense of humour.

 Get Together with Friends

If you have a group of friends you like to get together with and create with, feel free to check with us as you are welcome to use our space any time we don’t have classes and events.  Alternatively if you have a craft group you would like us to regularly host, please contact Gayle to discuss options.

EXCITING EVENTS COMING TO A PLACE TO CREATE!!!

 Saturday 5th August – VIP afternoon event

 Join us for an afternoon of colourful fun, make and takes, demonstrations, raffles, prizes and giveaways as we celebrate the new look shop and launch new ranges in store.  Wear your brightest and happiest clothes or zhoosh it up with a colourful handmade piece of wearable art, maybe a brooch, necklace, fascinator, headband, shoes, belt or whatever to go into the prize draw.  (Probably best to keep it to the outerwear since it’s a daytime event J) 

Guests from Celebr8 and Colour Blast will share their knowledge and creativity with you as you partake various make and takes and demonstrations.

Tickets are $15.00 / head with $5 going to a local charity of your choice on the day.  Ticket price also includes champagne on arrival, fabulous afternoon tea, coffee, tea, iced tea and entry into a grand prize of Colour Blast mixed media products.

Time: 3pm – 6pm

Saturday 12^th August – Rachel Greig from Darkroom Door  - a fun day of classes with awesome stamping techniques and mixed media fun.

The fun continues this weekend with 3 fabulous classes by the amazingly talented Rachel Greig from Darkroom Door.  Check out the facebook page to see the extraordinary range of techniques this lady can master while incorporating her magnificent range of stamps she also designs.
